Big Ivy Community Club initiated a “Beauty Spot” program

Community-Wide Efforts and projects to Improve the Appearance of roadsides and adjacent areas by mowing, planting flowers. Efforts to slope and seed road banks.

Big Ivy Community Club initiated a “Beauty Spot” program through-out the community as it’s main beautification project this year.

Residents have responded enthusiastically and have made “beauty spots” near the roadside or at their mailboxes. They were awarded “beauty spots’ signs which were made by the North Buncombe welding class students, painted and distributed by members of the community club.
